District Blitz is one of the events I look forward to all year long. Bringing a bus full of students into this environment, surrounding them with people seeking God and challenging them in their faith, brings me so much life!
I hope you consider sending your student with us in April! We know God uses opportunities like this to work in our kids’ lives.
THE PLAN
District Blitz Student Conference
We are bringing our students to District Blitz up in Duluth, MN from April 17-19th 2026. We’ll be attending rallies full of worship music and top tier speakers on the Bible, choose-your-own seminars on a variety of topics, and time in groups to encourage each other and explore the area. Our youth group will have a chance to laugh, grow together, and build a culture of taking Jesus seriously.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?
WHEN?
April 17-19, 2026
On Friday the 17th, we are meeting at Oak Haven Church at 4:30pm to load up the bus, eat dinner, and make sure all forms are turned in. We will provide pizza for dinner.
We are planning for the bus to leave by 5pm.
During the weekend, we will be staying at the Inn on Lake Superior. Breakfast is provided by the hotel.
On Sunday the 19th, we’ll stop for pizza and eat it on the way home. I expect us to be back at Church around 2:30pm. This timing depends on actual leave time, time to pick up food, bathroom breaks, and traffic on the route. We’ll make sure your student, or someone else, stays in contact that day to verify the ETA.
WHO?
This event is for both Middle School and High School students. All who are currently in 6th-12th grade are welcome.
COST?
The cost is $230. This event is more costly than our other big events and I am subsidizing the cost with our youth budget to keep costs down!
*Please send money with your student, enough for 1 meal out to eat on Saturday. We will provide sandwiches for the other meal. (It’s worth noting, that some groups choose to go out for both meals, but we plan to have sandwiches ready for the second.)
Scholarships are available. When registering your student, pick the scholarship payment option and we’ll be in touch ahead of the event.
There will be a late fee of $15 if registering after April 1st. This fee comes from the event coordinators. Please register promptly! If you have any questions, let me know soon.
Conduct
Students attending this event are agreeing to the following code of conduct as presented in District Blitz’ official communication:
Conduct Code
My model for conduct and attitudes is the Lord Jesus Christ.
I will observe all rules established by the conference directors and will follow the code given by my church.
For my own safety sake, I will not leave the rally area unless given special permission by my Youth Pastor/Leader.
I will attend all scheduled rallies and sit with my group.
No excessive public display of affection
Any free time given to me will be used wisely. I will, at all times, respect the property and safety of others.
No members of the opposite sex are allowed in hotel rooms.
I will (in travel to and from the rally, and during the conference) avoid all questionable activity and things which would be offensive to Christ, my parents, my church, the rally and others.
Responsibility Pledge
My goal in attending is for spiritual growth and to enjoy and develop friendships. I accept the responsibility for my conduct at the District Blitz Conference.
I realize that my participation in questionable behavior will end my stay at the conference.
I understand that my parents/guardians will assume financial responsibility for property damage/loss caused by me and travel cost if I am asked to leave early (only after parents have been called).
My family and I will be praying that this conference will be an enriching experience for our entire youth group.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
Fill out our registration form online. Payment options are found on the form.
A medical/liability form is due by the time of the retreat. A student without this form turned in is not able to attend with us.

NOTE ABOUT PHONES
Because we will be walking in the town of Duluth, we will not be taking phones away for the entire event. (although students are required to be travelling with one of our adult leaders at all times when not at the hotel or convention center.) We will be asking for phones periodically when not out and about to create an environment of engagement and focus. We reserve the right to confiscate phones for any amount of time during the trip if they become a distraction. Because of this, we are happy to share contact information for your student’s leaders in case you need to get a hold of them for any reason. Simply ask!
