Hey there!
It’s good for us to take a week away from the regular rhythm to have fun together and build connection as a Youth Group!
In this email, I’m also including info about The Solitude Practice on Sunday mornings. This will be a great discussion and opportunity for growth. Please consider sending your teenagers or bringing the whole family!
Let me know how I can pray for you and your family in this season. Just reply to this email. I’d love to hear from you!

HAVING FUN!
Fall Party
During Youth Ministry time this week, we’ll be heading over to Ham Lake Baptist Camp.
We will be bringing the students out to our bus RIGHT at 6:30pm. If your student is late for any reason, please bring them directly to camp at: 15707 E Ham Lake Dr, Ham Lake, MN 55304
Your student is invited to wear costumes. We advise costumes that can be worn during games and ones that aren’t overly intense. This means avoiding costumes with blood/gore, weapon focused costumes, or costumes meant to startle or scare.
Our night will be filled with food/snacks, games, prizes, and hopefully a bunch of laughter. We will bus the students back to Church by 8 for our regularly scheduled pickup.
SPIRITUAL FORMATION CLASS
The Solitude Practice

The Solitude Practice begins THIS Sunday (Nov 2) at 8:30am in the Community Room.
Consider bringing your whole family, or at least your teenager! This spiritual practice is too important to leave for later!
We are really looking forward to the encouragement of our faith as we dive deep into another spiritual practice. God uses the things that we do in our faith to help us know Him and become more like Jesus.
Solitude as a spiritual practice will make sense to some of us and not that much sense to others, but it is a core practice from Jesus that each of us are invited into.
In this four week class, we will be going over a video teaching that covers four topics of Solitude: 1. The Quiet Place 2. Encounter with Our Self 3. Encounter with Our Enemy and 4. Encounter with Our God. Each session will include a time of discussion about the teaching and homework to practice so you can share what you’re learning the following week.
You can find more info and sign up at the link below.
While you’re there, would you consider signing up to bring a light breakfast for 15-20 people? We love being hospitable and making this an environment conducive to conversation and growth!
