Hey there!

When I talk about Fall Retreat, I get pretty excited. I genuinely believe that the time our students spend in environments like this is worth more than most of the things our students participate in for their formation.

Yes, it’s super fun to be at Trout Lake Camps, surrounded by zip lines and laser tag and other games and fun; but the REAL exciting bit is the chance to get away from “normal life” with other people who want to seek God. It’s such a formative opportunity.

I want to encourage you to prioritize Fall Retreat this fall.

THE PLAN

FALL RETREAT

We are taking our students to Trout Lake Camps from October 10-12th! This event might be the #1 way you can help your student grow in their faith this year. They will have opportunities to bond with other youth group students, enjoy a bunch of activities, and grow to know Jesus together.

THE DETAILS

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?

WHEN?

October 10-12

On Friday the 10th, we are meeting at Oak Haven Church at 4:30pm to load up the van, eat dinner, and make sure all forms are turned in.
We are planning for the bus to leave by 5pm.

On Sunday the 12th, things are looking different from past years. We have a church family wedding happening on Sunday afternoon and a number of our volunteers are planning to attend. We will need to leave camp a bit early with a goal of arriving back at church between 1:30 and 2pm. This depends on actual leave time, bathroom breaks, and traffic on our route. We’ll have to stay in contact that day.

WHO?

You may remember in previous years we’ve had separate Fall Retreats for Middle School and High School. This year, the way the calendar fell, it works best to have one weekend that we’re bringing students to.
This event is for students in 6th grade through 12th grade.

COST?

The cost is $220. Contact Ryan for available scholarships.

Register by September 24th to guarantee a spot. Late registrations will cost $250 contingent on Trout’s approval to add space.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Fill out our registration form online. Payment options are found on the form.

A medical/liability form is due by the time of the retreat. A student without this form turned in is not able to attend with us.

We will have physical copies available to fill out, or you can download and print it for yourself here:

OTHER NOTE

This event is entirely phone-free for our students. Please choose either to keep their phones at home, or turn them in at the beginning of the event. If you need to be in touch with your student for any reason, you will be given contact information for our volunteer leaders.
