I have some updated Info about the worship night at Bethel this weekend. Last week I mentioned that we would leave at 7:30pm. Since then I got more info about their start time and we’re looking at a 7pm leave time instead. Below is the plan:

Bethel is inviting us to their weekly worship night, called Vespers, on Sunday October 19. They are excited to host us and will be providing some time for games and pizza before we head over for the worship night. We are planning to leave Oak Haven at 7pm.

Tentatively, we will be eating pizza, playing games in "the underground," and meeting Bethel's campus pastor between 7:30 and 8:30. After that we'll get ready to head over to Benson Great Hall for the worship time at 9pm.

We expect things to wrap up around 10, making a 10:30 to 10:45 arrival time back at Church a reasonable guess.

Please let us know you are coming so I can rsvp for pizza. In the sign up form, you can sign up either to ride in the van (so we know how many to give rides to), or to find your own ride and meet us there.

This week after Youth Group (Oct 15), our high schoolers are invited to stick around for our after-party. This is a time to give our high schoolers and mentors more time to connect and share life in a less “classroom” setting.

This week we are meeting at the Andover McDonalds! We expect to meet over there starting around 8:30. Students will need to arrange their own rides. I trust parents to decide their own student’s curfew and our team will support it. Most often students are heading out by 9:30, but just in case they aren’t, you should know that I have a hard end time and will send everyone home at 10pm if they haven’t left already.
