As a new year comes, we hope you get some time to refresh and refocus. It’s all too easy for our faith to run second place in the face of everything else going on. Instead of our transformation by Jesus impacting how we approach the rest of the world, the world impacts how we approach our relationship with Christ.
This event is an opportunity to help your student refocus. They will be invited to explore how they are living their faith and encouraged to press on in the middle of hardship. We can’t wait to see how God shows up in the lives of your students!
NEW EVENT
WINTER RETREAT
This January, we’re dedicating a weekend to seeking God, growing in our faith, making friends with other followers of Jesus, and playing in the snow.
We’re heading to Trout Lake Camps for a WINTER RETREAT from January 16-18.
Winter retreat is a new event for us. We’ve previously focused our time and energy on Fall Retreat and District Blitz. After many years of requests, we decided to add something a bit different from the norm. We are going back to Trout but with a smaller group of churches that I’m excited for our students to interact with!
Pastor Ryan has been planning this event with three other youth pastors from the greater Twin Cities area. These are trusted friends with years of ministry experience between them. They are super excited to present to your students times of connecting with God through worship and teaching, as well as fun through broomball tournaments and snow tubing (snow permitting!)
Register by December 31st to guarantee a winter hat with the Retreat theme. Any registrations after that date will be subject to availability.
The cost for this retreat is $220. This is priced to break even.
Need based scholarships are available. If you need help paying for this retreat, please ask Pastor Ryan or indicate on the registration form. We have money set aside and want as many students to attend as possible!
NEW! Family pricing. Events like this add up FAST. If you are sending more than one student, I’d like to take $20 off each registration cost. (if you send 1 student, the cost is $220, if you send 2 it’s 200 each for a total of 400, if you send 3 it’s 200 each for a total of 600 etc.)
Ryan will be in contact with you about getting Trout Lake's Medical and Liability form filled out as well as payment if you choose not to pay online.
***The event is going to be entirely phone-free for our students. Please either keep their phones at home, or turn them in at the beginning of the event. If you need to be in touch with your student for any reason, you will be given contact information for our volunteer leaders.
