Hey there!
This month has TWO Student Leadership meetings after Youth Group. One this week (Nov 5th) and one next week (Nov 12th). We meet after Youth Group in the Conference Room at Church from 8:15-9:15pm. Students on the Student Leadership Team are asked to be there. All other students are invited to join to grow in their leadership.
This week we’ll be talking about one tool in discipleship for your student to help someone else grow in their faith!
WHAT WE’RE LEARNING
Our Series
The Spirit of God is full of mystery. Most Christians struggle to know what to make of Him. We will be looking at what the Bible says the Spirit is and how His influence affects our life and faith.
This week we are studying Romans 8:1–14 and 12:2, Philippians 4:8–9, Galatians 5:16–18 and 25 and focusing on how we must learn to consistently choose God’s way over our way.
Questions You Can Ask
If you’d like to start a conversation with your student about our lesson, consider these:
What sort of media do you like to consume? How does it influence your life?
Who is a Christ-follower that you’ve learned from? What lessons did you learn from them that you put into practice in your own life?
Do you think people will notice if you live by the Spirit instead of the world? Why or why not?

SPIRITUAL FORMATION CLASS
The Solitude Practice
You are welcome to join the class even after it’s started.
This 4 Week class started on Sunday. The first one was November 2nd. We meet downstairs in the Community Room at church at 8:30am each morning before church. There is a video teaching with room for discussion, something to practice during the week, and opportunities for going deeper for those who are looking for more.
