You are probably reading this because your student is going on Winter retreat this weekend! My goal is to get you all the info you need as concisely as possible!

You Need to Know
When do we Leave?
Friday, January 16th, 4:30pm
I’d like your student to be at church at 4:30pm to pack their stuff in the van trailer. We’ll have dominos to feed them for dinner. The goal is to leave by 5pm or by whenever everyone is here and packed, whichever comes first.
Check In
When you get to Church, please let us know your student is here and drop off each of the following if applicable:
Payment
Medical/Liability Form (Physical copies will be available or you can print your own below)
Your student’s Cell Phone if you aren’t keeping it home with you. (Phone free event. We will store any phones you send with us and give them back to your student about an hour away on Sunday so they can contact you about our ETA)
A snack large enough to share*
*Each church participating in this event is providing snacks for Friday and Saturday evening. Each student bring these snacks. Girls bring sweet snacks. Boys bring salty snacks.
(Don’t forget to pack WARM clothes. We will be doing outdoor activities and it will be a cold one. Don’t forget to also bring the snack to share!)
Phone Free event?
We’ve done a few phone free events in the last couple years and they’ve gone so well. Doing it this way makes the experience so much better with fewer distractions. Maybe send some car games, especially ones they can play together! If you need to contact your student for any reason, you can message me during the trip, or I can get you contact information for their leaders.

When do we get Home?
~3pm on Sunday January 18th.
We will leave right after lunch on Sunday and make our way home. I’m expecting our arrival time to be between 2:30 and 3pm although that depends on what time we hit the road and bathroom breaks. We will give your student their phone back or contact you with our eta when we get a bit closer.
